JEC partnered with the Harvard Club of Chicago to host a panel discussion with three Harvard Alumni: Helen Zeng, the Market Operations Manager at Grubhub, who gave insights on how to explore career options in college, as well as taking classes outside of your major such as the Science of Cooking; Sameer Doshi, a Staff Attorney at Earthjustice, who shared his interests in Public Policy and Environmental Science, as well as insight regarding the College Admissions process at highly-selective institutions; and Phillip Acevedo, an Associate at Sidley Austin, who gave light to the Harvard Economics department's focus on Scarcity, and also shared his story of how visiting Harvard as a child motivated him to pursue it for undergrad. We discussed why they choose their University, their major, the internships they had in college, and more. We opened up the floor for audience questions during the last fifteen minutes.
