JEC partnered with the Wharton Club of Chicago to engage in a panel discussion with four UPenn Wharton Alumni: Emily Zehn, a Venture Capital Investor at New Enterprise Associates, who gave insights on the interdiscipline between Medicine and Business; Chris Nadherny, President of Nadherny and Associates, who provided the quantitative vs theoretical aspects of different schools' MBA programs and how Wharton finds the balance; Joe Granda, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at Common Goal System, who shared his experiences as a first generation student; and Joan Larbi, an Associate at McKinsey & Company, who gave light to the connection between Social Issues and Economics.We discussed why they choose their University, their major, the internships they had in college, and how they went about acquiring them, and more. We opened up the floor for audience questions during the last fifteen minutes.
