Junior Achievement collaborated with the Junior Economic Club of Chicago to host a finance panel. JEC members from Chicago, San Francisco, and New York heard from different professionals in economics, finance, and insurance. The panelists featured were Lisa Barrow, an economist at the Federal Reserve, Chris Fontana, an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs, Joel Lehman, a Risk Manager at AIG, and Hans Wiersholm, a Distribution Analyst at AIG. The panel began by discussing their professional and personal backgrounds. They then detailed what a typical day in each of their respective careers entails, their career paths, how they maintain work-life balance, and much more. At the end, we opened up the floor to our members to ask any questions.
