The Talent Acquisition Team from Magnetar Capital introduced important resume-building tips and interview strategies to serve as a foundation for career preparedness for years to come. With their combined 13 years of HR and Talent Acquisition experience, Amy Jeffers and Alyssa Martorano guided participants through best practices to help breakdown resume and interview strategies. The event was led by Amy Jeffers and Alyssa Martorano. Amy graduated from the University of Illinois in 2008 with degrees in Advertising and English. After graduation, she worked at Edelman Public Relations for four years, where she realized her passion for Human Resources and financial services. She left Public Relations to begin a career in HR at CME Group in 2012, and she started at Magnetar Capital as the Director of Talent Acquisition in 2017. Alyssa graduated from Loyola University of Chicago in 2016 with a degree in Business Marketing. After graduation, she worked in HR at Aon Hewitt for two years.
