During this event, Marsha Cruzan, Regional Market President for U.S. Bank in Chicago, walked members through her impressive career spanning fifty years. She was intent on including the ups and downs of her nonlinear journey to demonstrate that it is normal for career paths to fluctuate and that there are lessons to be learned in each role and experience. Ms. Cruzan talked about her schooling from her undergraduate degree in political science to receiving her MBA, her experience studying abroad and how that shaped her interests, her early career, and her role today leading U.S. Bank in Chicago. She emphasized the importance of being a good listener, growing your network, and seeking out feedback. Members were grateful to have had the chance to hear from and ask questions to such a phenomenal speaker.
