In this event, Maggie Zhang, an Associate in Sustainable Investing at SLC Management, led members through an engaging, introductory workshop concentrated on exploring how environmental, social, and corporate governance impact both investment decisions and organization-wide methods and reports. Members split into small groups to discuss two specific companies, Tesla and Mondelez International, and analyze what stood out to them from an ESG-focused investor’s perspective. Ms. Zhang then responded to student questions focused on regulatory compliance, corporate reporting strategy, and future changes to the industry.
