On Saturday, February 20th, 2021, members of the Wharton Undergraduate Finance Club (WUFC) hosted an event in partnership with the Junior Economic Club of Chicago. Speakers included the following Wharton students: Paige Hosbein ‘24, concentrating in Finance and Marketing; Sydney Teh ‘23, concentrating in Finance and Marketing; Justin Chan ‘23, concentrating in Finance and Business Economics and Public Policy; Doan Nguyen '23, concentrating in Finance and Business Analytics; Megan Cardosi ‘22, concentrating in Finance and Behavioral Econ; and Andres Garrido ‘22, concentrating in Finance and Management. The club’s mission statement says: “WUFC works to offer a comprehensive destination for all students interested in finance. From learning to recruiting to networking, we aim to be Wharton's most prominent finance-focused club.” Their presentation covered topics from choosing a college to pursuing internships in finance. During the subsequent Q&A session, they thoughtfully addressed a variety of topics relating to the college admissions process and pursuing finance in higher education.
