Kavin Ramasamy

Kavin Ramasamy

Kavin Ramasamy, Chapter President and Global Co-Vice President, is a senior at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. He enjoys exploring the intersection of economy, finance, and technology. He is also interested in programming and software development. He enjoys reading economics articles and discussing monetary policies. At school, he is the president and founder of the High School Internships Club, which connects businesses and high school students for internships. Additionally, Kavin is a member of Chicago Teen Mentors, where he tutors sixth graders in math. He enjoys running, spending time with family, and traveling in his free time.

Rohin Shah

Rohin Shah

Rohin Shah, Vice President, is a junior at the Latin School of Chicago, where he serves as Junior Prefect of the Student Government, Editor-in-Chief of The Forum, and a board member of the Latin Student Investment Fund. Additionally, Rohin competes on the boys varsity basketball and track teams. He is particularly interested in using economics, finance, and social justice to make change within his communities. Outside of school, Rohin has interned at the On the Money Magazine and volunteers with the UChicago Refugee Wellness Laboratory. In his free time, he loves to travel, spend time with friends, and watch the New England Patriots.

Arden Brown

Arden Brown

Arden Brown, Chief Financial Officer, is a junior at the Latin School of Chicago with a passion for using business and finance to address real-world challenges. Alongside her sister, she co-founded Living Outside, a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to destigmatizing homelessness through direct aid and conversation. At school, Arden is an active leader, serving on the Student Service Learning Board, the Difficult Dialogues Council, and the Steering Committee. Outside of her academic and nonprofit work, she loves spending time outdoors and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Eddie Skolarus

Eddie Skolarus

Eddie Skolarus, Assistant Financial Officer, is a Sophomore at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. He is very interested in macroeconomics, international relations, and mathematics and loves to learn about the intersection between the three fields. At school, he gives tours to prospective families and is a member of the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams. Additionally, he is a member of the Model United Nations team where he has won awards from conferences at Harvard and Northwestern. Outside of school, Eddie volunteers at the Hyde Park Refugee Project and enjoys reading economics articles and books. In his free time, he likes to spend time with friends and family, run and play racket sports.

Vedika Dangi

Vedika Dangi

Vedika Dangi, Chief Technology Officer, is a senior at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. She is the 12th Grade Vice President, Co-Chair of the Maroon Mentor Program in the Key Club, and Co-President of the American India Foundation Junior Board. Vedika is also a varsity athlete in both golf and soccer, and was an intern at 1Kosmos, a cybersecurity firm where she built AI agents for multiple prodcuts. She brings a passion for building systems that make organizations more efficient, from predictive analytics platforms to event automation tools. Her interests span entrepreneurship, economics, and digital infrastructure. In her free time, she scuba dives, and travels to discover new cultures. Vedika hopes to launch a tech-enabled venture that broadens access to financial education and opportunity.

Annika Chopra

Annika Chopra

Annika Chopra, Director of Communications, is a junior at the British International School of Chicago (BISC). She is primarily interested in the evolving intersection of marketing, economics and artificial intelligence. Annika initiated a program to spread AI literacy among financially under-resourced seniors. She has also built an AI Agent to support the marketing endeavors of 24/7 Teach, an educational and training organization. At BISC, Annika has a leadership role on the Marketing and Communications Committee, where she is working on a campaign to promote the school. She is passionate about volunteering in her community and is an active member of the Leadership Corps for The Honeycomb Project. Annika is on BISC’s varsity tennis team and was previously a tennis camp counselor. In her spare time, she enjoys reading historical fiction, hanging out with her friends and traveling.

Payton Johnson

Payton Johnson

Payton is a Senior at Lane Tech College Prep and currently serves as JEC's Chief Marketing Officer. Payton has a strong passion for business and economics as she's been involved with the JEC since freshman year, emphasizes economics in school by taking Macroeconomics, and attending DePaul's Summer Investment Challenge. As a youth consultant for various mental health companies and start ups, she wants to utilize and grow her knowledge of business to help entrepreneurs make the world a better place. Payton is also a Varsity debater, legislative advocate with the YMCA, avid reader, and loves to run long distances!

Sid Singh

Sid Singh

Siddhanta Singh, Director of Strategic Initiatives, is a Junior at Adlai.E.Stevenson high school. He is the founder president of the Investing Club at his school and passionate about subjects of Economics and Finance. Sid is the winner of stock market investing and personal finance competitions at state level and has represented Illinois at national level. In his free time, Sid likes to write about current economic challenges and can be found playing at the local golf and tennis clubs.

Ansh Malhotra

Ansh Malhotra

Ansh Malhotra, Assistant Director of Initiatives, is a junior at Walter Payton College Prep. He is interested in exploring economics, finance, and entrepreneurship, and has a strong passion for working with others and helping his community. At Payton, Ansh serves as the Treasurer for his school’s Key Club, and plays for the Varsity Chess team, which he helped place 4th in Illinois, as well as the Lacrosse team. He also placed 4th in the Illinois Stock Market Game challenge, and is a member of the Math team and volunteers for the Chicago Student Refugee Coalition. Outside of school, Ansh has interned at the CTA, ComEd, and volunteers at the Red Cross. In his free time, he loves to play and watch sports, spend time with his friends, travel, and cook.
